What to see / What to visit

At the foot of the Col de Vence and the pre-Alpes d'Azur, the villa is ideally located for strolling along the many hiking trails in the area. Some are even within walking distance of the house! Just 2km from Vence town center, you'll find all the shops, restaurants and other amenities you need for a pleasant stay! You can stroll through the narrow streets of the medieval old town and discover our rich historical heritage, stroll through the aisles of the local producers' market, go hiking to discover the chapel of Saint Raphael, the Baou des Blancs or the Col de Vence. Vence has attracted many artists, including Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall, Jean Dubuffet, Raoul Dufy and Arman, all seduced by the beauty of its landscapes, climate and light. Events throughout the year enliven the town, such as the Easter Flower Battle, the Nuits du Sud music festival, the traditional Saint Elizabeth's Day music festival, the Nuits des étoiles at the Col de Vence...

You'll also be close to charming Moyen Pays villages like Saint-Paul de Vence, Tourettes-sur-Loup, Saint-Jeannet and Gourdon. You can also take full advantage of seaside towns such as Antibes, Nice, Cannes, Menton or Monaco, or even a short trip to Italy. If you prefer the mountains, the magnificent Parc du Mercantour and a number of great hiking trails are about 1h30 away by car.
